Cabomba (Cabomba caroliniana), or also know as Carolina fanwort, is green, brushy stem plant that occasionally sprouts floating flowers. Its feathery fan leaves are great for fry or small shrimp to hide. The stems quite up to 20" tall which make them great for background plants. Cabomba grows very quickly and needs regular trimming. For best results, use high amount of lighting.
Cabomba is commonly found in the southeastern region of the United States where it commonly grows in streams, rivers, and ponds. It is best to plant the stems in adequate substrate so the roots can establish.
